I could not believe how spectacular the room looked after Karen and Co had decorated it, changing it from a typical hotel type conference room into something incredibly glamorous and fitting for my wife's 50th birthday party. But really the whole experience from outlinging our requirements to the finished article was professional to the max and exceeded all our expectations. We will be calling Essex Events again for sure! I recently had pleasure in taking part in a Golf Day organised by Karen and Sam of the Essex Events Company. The attention to detail for the day's enjoyment was excellent, right down to minor points like drinks being provided half way round on a hot day - well done for selecting good weather too! The additional benefits provided included the Golf Clinic before the game started and being filmed at the first tee for perusal back in the clubhouse afterwards, over a drink and before appreciating a good meal. I want to drop you a line to let you know how much I enjoyed the corporate golf day you arranged at Lexden Wood Golf Centre last week. Being a regular of these type of events, it was refreshing to experience a more professionally thought out and run day than I am normally used to. I brought an important client of mine with me so it was doubly satisfying that the day went so well. We were both particularly impressed with the pre-golf clinic and the post analysis of our first drive that was videoed by the head professional. Dear Essex Events, I would just like to thank Karen Lambert for all her friendly and super helpful advise for our wedding on the 18th April 2009. Karen found us the perfect venue after a short and painless discussion on exactly what we were looking for. It was close to home and even better than we had ever imagined. Karen also went totally above and beyond from start to finish, finding glasses for hire from all over the place, recommending food and wines and even booking guest accommodation for us. Although we catered the wedding ourselves, Karen still managed to find us cost cutting but still wow factor options, she gathered menus and helped us get a good idea on how much we needed of each item, and what goes best. Karen took complete control of any situation on the day, from best man speech and duties, to helping with pouring out the wines. I really do not know how we would have survived without her hard labour, it really did make the day 100% perfect! Thank you again Mrs T, Great Dunmow

I really wanted to thank you for organising P & C's engagement party for me. I must admit, I've never asked anyone to organise something like this before and it is worrying becasue on the night, you don't get a second chance, it is either good or bad - well it was better than good, all of the guests complemented you. For me - you made the whole process very easy, you gave very sensible suggestions and I have to admit I was extremely pleased with everything on the day. I wanted to surprise P and C and - well - you certainly exceeded my expectations, not only in the preparation beforehand but with you both being there on the night to make sure everything was in order, I felt very confortable that everything would go smoothly - and it did. The food was wonderful (what a great selection) and the bar staff made it very easy for everyone (they were brilliant). The chocolates went down extremely well, in fact everyone commented on how good it was. So a big thank you from P, C and me.
I would certainly not hesitate to recommend you to other people and I know some of my friends are already asking where I found you and whether you can do the same for them. Karen organised a 60th birthday party for my husband which went very well. It was great to be able to leave all the details in her hands and not have to worry about a thing. Samantha and Karen could not have been more help in selecting and managing the caterers who were great, the chocolate fountain and all the bits and pieces.
